Properties per ingredient: PURE Psyllium only contains the active ingredient, namely the membrane of the psyllium seed and not the whole seed. This has the property that it can absorb a lot of moisture. This makes the intestinal contents softer and more voluminous, which improves intestinal transit. As a result, constipation is prevented and intestinal peristalsis is improved. Psyllium Husk can bind toxins and heavy metals and thus support the body's detoxification mechanism. PUUR Psyllium is given with plenty of water in case of loose stools and with little water in case of constipation.

The optimal dose is 1 - 2 x daily:
Dog > 25 kg 1.5 scoop
Dog 10-25 kg 1 scoop
Dog < 10 kg and cat 0.5 scoop
1 scoop contains approximately 2 grams.
If it is difficult in practice to administer this product several times a day, 1 time per day or 1 time per 2 days will suffice. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.
Administration
Can be given through the food, wet the food so that it is not blown out of the food bowl. Give PUUR Psyllium in case of loose stools with little water. To soften the stool give with plenty of water.

Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from 1 to 3 days. If there is improvement, continue with the administration of this product for a few more days.
With prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 days. Upon improvement, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, carefully observe the reaction of the animal. A higher dose may be required in the beginning, this product can be safely given in a double dose. Reduce the dose gradually to the lowest possible dose.
This product can be given permanently.
Save
Avoid direct sunlight and keep this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20C. Keep out of reach of children. The best before date is stated on the label and the box.
Synergy and combinations with other products
This product can be used without objection in combination with other natural health products and regular medicines. Contraindications
