PRO PLAN® PUPPY LARGE WIDE ROBUST - rich in chicken and rice
Throughout history, large breeds have been bred for either strength or speed, resulting in two fundamentally different body types: robust and athletic. Recent research showed that these two body types have very different characteristics, which influence nutritional requirements even during the growth process. For example, robust large breeds usually have more body fat and benefit from a lower calorie intake to prevent them from gaining weight. Athletic large breeds, on the other hand, use more energy during daily activities and therefore need energy-rich food. Even when resting, athletic large breeds expend more energy than robust breeds.
Complete food for large breed dogs.

Product information
Puppy Large Robust has been specially formulated to meet the specific nutritional needs of large puppies (> 25 kg adult weight) from 2 to 24 months old with a robust physique. Robust large breed puppies tend to have a naturally lower metabolism (they use less energy) than athletic large breeds. This specially adapted nutrition supports the robust physique.
OPT START
With colostrum, the first breast milk, rich in natural antibodies, which has been shown* to help boost the immune response, helping to supplement the protection he received from his mother. It also maintains a good balance between the good and bad bacteria in the puppy's gut to help fight off common discomforts during the puppy phase.
ROBUST BODY CONSTRUCTION
L-Carnitine, in combination with the right protein and fat levels, to support harmonious growth for healthy joint development, as puppies with robust physiques tend to become overweight.
BRAIN & VISION
Contains DHA, originally present in breast milk, essential for better brain and vision development.

Nutrition during weaning and the growth process
During the first three weeks of life, the mother provides all of the puppy's nutritional needs. During the three to six weeks that follow, give the puppy a portion of PRO PLAN® Puppy, diluted with water, 3 to 4 times a day. Once the puppy is no longer suckling, feed the recommended amount. After three months, gradually add less water. A lean body condition during the growth process is important for healthy development.
Increase or decrease the recommended daily amount by 10-15% depending on the living conditions, activity level and physical condition of the puppy.
